重磅！Flexport突然宣布全球大裁员，即刻执行

日趋严峻的全球经济衰退危机给国际物流业带来的影响，除了运费暴跌营收大减之外，还有日趋严峻的裁员潮。

继C.H. Robinson和亚马逊之后，又一家全球科技物流巨头Flexport突然宣布全球大幅裁员！

据壹航运最新获悉：美国当地时间1月11日，Flexport员工收到公司两位联合首席执行官Dave Clark和Ryan Petersen的联名公开信。信中宣布Flexport将在全球裁员20%，原因之一是全球经济衰退预期导致的业务下降！

本次裁员计划将即刻执行！被裁员的欧洲和北美员工将在公开信发出的数小时之内内收到HR的电子邮件，而亚洲员工将在今天（1月12日）收到离职通知！

Flexport突然宣布全球裁员

两位联合首席执行官在信中写道：“我们总体上处于(行业）有利地位，但也不能幸免于影响全球企业的宏观经济衰退。我们的客户受到了这些挑战性条件的影响，导致我们到2023年的销量预测下降。

业务量降低，加上新的组织和运营结构带来的效率提高，意味着我们在整个公司的各种岗位上人手过剩。

因此，今天我们正在缩减我们的组织规模，我们将遗憾地对一群有才华的flexporter说再见。我们感谢那些即将离职的员工所做的贡献，我们也感谢每一位即将离职的员工对公司所做的贡献。他们的Flexport章节即将结束，我们将以尊重和尊严对待他们，我们祝愿他们在未来的努力中取得巨大成功。”

对于离职员工，Felxoprt开出了不错的条件：对于美国员工，公司将给予包括12周的遣散费，延长6个月的医疗保健。

但Flexport表示离职条件将因地理位置而异，亚洲被裁员工的离职待遇暂时还未公开。

对于未来的展望，Flexport表示2023年将以非凡的速度增长--我们正在将公司的软件工程人才增加一倍，并转向单线程业务组织，以更快地构建世界级的产品，并将继续投资，为客户提供一流的运营执行。

信的结尾称：“目前销量的放缓让我们有时间在经济衰退期间集中精力建设我们的技术储备，然后等到经济复苏。”“我们将从这次经济衰退中走出来，并为任何战斗做好准备——做到最好，继续为客户提供惊人的价值和服务。”

We begin the New Yearwith more optimism than ever about Flexport's future. There is a lot to be proud of together as a team, we have made significant strides to streamline our operations and strengthen our commitment to build the best technology and products for the benefit of current and future customers.

Whie we are looking forward to what's to come in 2023. we must also make hard decisions necessary to set us up for long-term success. We are overall in a good position, but are not immune to the macroeconomic downturn that hasmpacted businesses around the world. Our customers have been impacted by these challenging conditions,resulting in a reduction to our volume forecasts through 2023. Lower volumes, combined with improved efficiencies as aresult of new organizational and operational structures, means we are overstaffed in a variety of roles across the company.

As aresult，today we are reducing the size of our organization and we will unfortunately say goodbve to a group of talented Flexporters. We are grateful for the contributions of those who are leaving, and each departing Flexporter has our gratitude for their contributions to the company.  They will be treated with respect and dignity as their Flexport chapter comes to a close and we wish them great success in thein future endeavors.

Supporting Departing Flexporters

Every Flexporter whose role is being eliminated will be notified by email with information specific to them and their exit.  In the US.  Canada and Europe these notifications will be received in the next few hours. In APAC, local HR teams will reach out to those impacted in the next full working day (Jan 12).  Impacted employees account for approximately 20% of our global workforce.

Departure support will vary by geography.  For US employees it includes 12 weeks severance, 6 months extended healthcare,2022 bonus payment equity vesting acceleration including dropping the vesting cliff for those with 6 months or more oftenure,immigration support, and ability to opt into our alumni talent directory to help with future job opportunities.

The Road Ahead for Flexport

At Flexport,2023 is going to bring extraordinary velocity-we are in the process of doubling our software engineering talent and moving to single threaded business organizations to build world class products faster and we will continue to invest in delivering best-in-class operational execution for our customers.

The currentslowdown in volume gives us time to focus on building our technology bench while the economy ags.Then.asthe economy recovers.  we will be ready to be the Flexport that we all want to be-the one stop for customers to make the movement of doods around the world easv.   But to do that, we're going to need to be nimble，fiscally responsible and focused on building fast with operationa excellence.
